What we are looking for:

  • IT literate with high levels of word processing, database and spreadsheet skills.
  • Previous relevant administrative experience within a diverse organisation (ideally within the Education Sector).
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to use your own initiative and work independently.

Duties/responsibilities:

  • Undertake administrative duties, deal with calls, correspondence and visitors, liaise with all staff College-wide to progress the implementation of Quality Improvement initiatives.
  • Maintain a comprehensive digital filing system within the Quality SharePoint.
  • To be the first point of contact on dealing with students/external customers’ feedback and maintain the tracking process.
  • Coordinate Lesson Visits and maintain the tracking process.
  • Organise Audit cycles and partake in audit process of various quality assurance processes.
  • Work closely with HR and use the HR Systems for updating staff records in relation to staff development.

Nescot is graded ‘Good’ by Ofsted following its latest inspection in January 2023. Inspectors rated the College as Good in all 8 aspects. The report recognises that students “enjoy their courses and are motivated to succeed”, and benefit from “highly supportive relationships” with staff. Safeguarding arrangements are “effective” with regular training for staff, and leaders have in place “an effective policy for safer recruitment.”
