September 2026 start. Term time only role (36 weeks). The successful candidate will work 37.5 hours/week term time only (36 weeks), including one day per week (Tuesday) working until 19:00. It will be required to work on occasional Saturdays on a rota basis (9:00 - 14:00).
What we are looking for:
- A creative and proactive person with the ability to teach digital skills to learners with a wide range of abilities.
- A degree or above in a Library or Education related discipline.
- Experience working in a library or educational setting.
- Excellent organisation and communication skills, accuracy and attention to detail, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent digital and customer service skills.
Duties/responsibilities:
- Leading dynamic digital skills training that builds confidence and independence.
- Delivering expert support on digital tools, platforms and online learning.
- Embedding digital literacy into teaching through strong curriculum partnerships.
- Driving engagement with e-resources and digital learning technologies.
- Helping create an outstanding, student-focused learning centre experience.
