NES Fircroft have entered a new partnership working on behalf of an industry leading Power Cabling client who require CVs for review in preparation to fulfil the role of a Site Manager on their project based in Suffolk.
The ideal person must have experience of EHV cable installation activities on site with knowledge of setting up joint bays, surveying, and trenching. Previous experience on a National Grid site is advantageous (SR163, TP137, TP144).
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:- Responsible for the delegated budget from Project Manager.
- Within a given delegation, ensure delivery of an installation scope as part of a customer project.
- Responsible for installation risks and promote transparency to reach agreement with the Project Manager, to best manage risks within the business in its entirety.
- Responsible for overseeing initial survey works and documentation creation in relation to this (CDM, RAMS etc).
- Responsible for all work within the installation part of the project (start up, planning, preparation, execution and closure phase). This includes engineering and testing.
- Responsible that installation operations are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations and HSE procedures.
- Responsible for the specification of all needed sub-contractors due to installation including quality and HSE requirements.
- Responsible that installation, both qualitatively and quantitatively, is carried out in the best possible manner.
