In this role, you will embed advanced risk management strategies into project planning and execution, ensuring that decision-makers are equipped with insightful, data-driven perspectives to achieve project objectives efficiently and confidently.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related discipline
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in project risk management or similar roles
- Proficient in risk management standards such as PMI, ISO 31000, and AACEI
- Hands-on experience with qualitative and quantitative risk analysis (QRA) tools, including Primavera Risk Analysis and/or @Risk
- Skilled in MS Excel, Power BI, and risk management platforms like ARM or Safran Risk
- Strong analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and facilitation skills, fluent in English
- Proven ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure, fast-paced project environments
Nice to Have Skills
- RMP (Risk Management Professional) certification or equivalent
- Experience leading risk workshops and stakeholder interviews
- Familiarity with integrating risk registers with work breakdown structures (WBS), cost breakdown structures (CBS), and project schedules
- Knowledge of steel industry projects or large-scale infrastructure initiatives
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Project Management, or a closely related field
- At least five years of hands-on experience in managing project risks and opportunities, preferably in engineering or construction projects
Other Requirements
- Ability to support ongoing monitoring and reporting, including the preparation of dashboards and risk reports for diverse stakeholder groups
- Flexibility to engage with international project teams and potentially manage some travel requirements based on project needs
