The Quality Engineer will work within nuclear and defence Lifetime Quality Records supporting the management and assurance of Lifetime Quality Records (LTQRs) on major nuclear and defence construction projects. Sign off plays a key role in ensuring that document, records, authority, and certification arrangements meet ONR Nuclear Licence Condition 6 requirements for LTQRs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and verifying non-technical aspects of LTQRs submitted by project suppliers.
- Supporting contractor teams by checking LTQRs, identifying issues, and recording findings within the Teamcenter Electronic Document and Records Management System (EDRMS).
- Assisting Quality Management Leads and Project Managers in maintaining compliance with quality and records management requirements.
- Monitoring and reporting LTQR performance using established reporting tools and processes.
- Defining records management requirements for contractors and supporting ongoing performance reviews.
- Following quality department policies, procedures, and specifications to accurately process and manage records information.
