Are you ready to elevate your career as an Offshore Instrument Technician with a leading player in the Oil & Gas sector? Our client, a major operator in the UK North Sea, is seeking skilled and safety-focused Instrument Technicians to join their offshore teams.
This vital role offers the chance to work on cutting-edge offshore processing facilities, ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of critical instrumentation systems that keep gas production running efficiently and safely. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and testing on a range of instrumentation equipment including safety shutdown valves, extinguishant and fire & gas detection systems, level and pressure measurement devices, nucleonic instruments, and safety instrumented systems. Your contributions will directly impact plant availability and operational excellence in one of the world’s most dynamic offshore environments.
Required Skills:- Strong expertise in maintenance, testing, and operation of offshore instrumentation systems
- COMPEX
- Proven ability to safely manage Shutdown/Blowdown valves, Fire & Gas systems, and Extinguishant systems
- Experience with Fixed and Portable Flammable and Toxic Gas Detectors
- Skilled in maintenance of level, pressure, and temperature measurement equipment
- Competence in handling Nucleonic devices
