Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager Norwich (3 days onsite) Initial 6-Month Contract Outside IR35 Expenses Covered Overview We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager to provide commercial and quantity surveying services across a portfolio of projects.
This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially focused professional with strong cost management, contract administration, and stakeholder engagement experience.
Key Responsibilities Develop and maintain project cost plans, forecasts, cash flow projections, and commercial reporting.
Manage subcontractor, supplier, and material costs throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare Bills of Quantities (Bo Qs), schedules of rates, specifications, and supporting commercial documentation.
Undertake quantity take-offs, site measurements, and valuations of completed works.
Assess and manage variations, compensation events, and change control processes.
Prepare and support interim applications, progress claims, and final accounts.
Review and certify subcontractor and supplier payment applications.
Deliver commercial reporting, cost analysis, forecasting, and performance monitoring.
Support procurement activities, tender evaluations, and supply chain management.
Identify commercial risks and opportunities, implementing cost-saving initiatives where possible.
