Term: 6-12 months

Our client is looking for a reliable and organised Warehouse Operative to support all aspects of parts handling, storage, and movement within the warehouse and production areas. You’ll ensure materials are picked, packed, loaded, and dispatched accurately and safely while maintaining high housekeeping and data-entry standards.

Key Responsibilities of the Warehouse Operative

  • Conduct warehouse tasks including goods in/out, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Follow established procedures for UK, European, and export orders.
  • Check pick lists and ensure accurate picking and loading/unloading of vehicles.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely (forklift certification beneficial).
  • Maintain accurate records and check the quality of incoming goods.
  • Support workflow by allocating tasks, covering absence, and assisting other departments.
  • Uphold standards, participate in safety audits, and contribute to lean initiatives.

About You

  • Experience in warehouse or similar environment.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail.
  • Excellent timekeeping, reliability, and counting accuracy.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team with a positive attitude.
  • Good attendance & time keeping.
