Our client is seeking a pro-active Customer Support & Sales data specialist - Hybrid working once trained.

Are you a highly organised customer service professional with strong systems knowledge and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences? We are looking for a Customer Service & Sales Support Specialist to join a small successful team. This is a varied role where you will work supporting customers throughout the entire order lifecycle, from quotation and order placement through to delivery and after-sales support.

The Role

As a key member of the Customer Support team, you will be responsible for managing customer accounts, processing orders, resolving queries, and ensuring customers receive a first-class service at every stage of their journey. You will act as the primary internal contact for customer account enquiries, working closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Operations, After-Sales Service and Spare Parts teams to ensure issues are resolved efficiently and professionally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer orders from receipt through to delivery.
  • Process credits, debits and customer account amendments.
  • Maintain and update customer master data records.
  • Monitor customer credit limits in line with company procedures.
  • Prepare and issue technical quotations with accurate pricing and lead times.
  • Respond to customer enquiries regarding quotations, order status, deliveries and ETAs.
  • Investigate and resolve delivery issues, shortages, damages and complaints.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure prompt resolution of customer issues.
  • Produce regular reports and performance statistics.

Technical Skills

  • Previous experience in a Customer Service, Sales Support, Internal Sales or Order Management role.
  • Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Strong reporting and analytical capabilities.
  • SAP would be an advantage.
  • Salesforce CRM would be an advantage.
  • Power BI, Power Apps an advantage.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
