We are looking for candidates who can work in a fast-paced production environment with the ability to work as part of a team but also able to work under their own initiative if called upon. You will be joining a department of around 45 people and divided into smaller teams of 5 plus depending on the product line. Each day consists of reviewing the workload with their line manager and following instructions relating to batches of work, for building and assembling of PCBs onto mechanical parts for processing within each team. The parts being built are varied and require candidates to be detailed in their work and comfortable following written instructions using computers to access and review the applicable manufacturing instructions.
While previous experience in soldering or component assembly is a plus, it is not required—we welcome applicants who are motivated to learn and grow into the role.
As a Manufacturing Assembler/Operator you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out duties within the production line as instructed by line manager.
- Adhering to the companies Health and Safety guidelines.
- Providing total cell commitment and support in the attainment of goals, with respect to safety, quality, cost, delivery, and compliance tasks.
- Working towards lean and continuous improvements in the area.
You bring these skills:
- Have good manual dexterity for assembling electro/mechanical components.
- Soldering experience to a recognized standard (J-std/IPC std) is a plus but not required.
- Be able to read and understand technical drawings & job-related manufacturing documentation.
- Have good verbal & written communication skills.
- Be able to multitask and rotate across key processes.
