We are recruiting for an experienced Health & Safety Risk Assessment Specialist to join a leading engineering and manufacturing organisation based in Sheffield. This role will focus on reviewing and improving HSE risk assessment documentation, governance, and compliance processes across five UK operational sites.

Working closely with operational and safety teams, you will be responsible for reviewing, validating, and improving health and safety risk assessment documentation and governance processes across multiple locations. The successful candidate will help ensure safety documentation is accurate, compliant, accessible, and effectively managed, while identifying opportunities for process improvement and stronger governance controls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and validate H&S risk assessments and records
  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, and improvement opportunities
  • Manage and maintain digital safety documentation systems
  • Support governance, compliance, and document control processes
  • Work closely with site teams to improve safety standards

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience within Health & Safety / Risk Assessment roles
  • Strong document control and analytical skills
  • Experience using SharePoint or similar systems
  • Background within manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments preferred

This position is based in Sheffield supporting five UK operational sites. Please note, no lodge or accommodation allowance is available, therefore candidates must currently reside within commuting distance of Sheffield for daily travel to site.
