Location: Frimley, Surrey (UK right to work is essential)

Contract Duration: 9 months

Working Pattern: 100% office initially, then hybrid

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support the delivery of complex engineering projects within a global energy-focused environment. This role involves managing projects from initial requirements through to delivery and close-out, ensuring safety, quality, and commercial objectives are consistently met.

You will work across multiple concurrent projects, collaborating with international engineering teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners to drive successful outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage projects from handover through to delivery and completion
  • Deliver projects safely, on time, within budget, and to required quality standards
  • Coordinate internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders globally
  • Monitor project performance, budgets, risks, and progress reporting
  • Lead and support engineering teams to meet project objectives
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, procedures, and HSE requirements
  • Maintain strong stakeholder relationships throughout the project lifecycle
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and operational excellence

Experience Required

  • Proven experience in Project Management or Project Execution within engineering environments
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong understanding of full project lifecycle delivery
  • Familiarity with Oil & Gas / energy industry standards (e.g. NACE, ASME, NORSOK, PD5500 or similar)
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, P&IDs, and technical documentation
  • Strong commercial and contractual awareness
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools

Qualifications

  • HNC/HND or equivalent in an engineering discipline (essential)
  • Degree in engineering (desirable)
  • Project Management certification
