We are supporting a global industrial engineering organisation in the search for an Engineering Co-ordinator to join their Maintenance Services team in Worcester. This role acts as a technical authority, supporting both planned and reactive maintenance activities across a range of industrial installations. The successful candidate will provide technical guidance, support fault diagnosis, coordinate maintenance work orders, and act as an escalation point for complex engineering issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage planned and reactive maintenance work orders
- Provide technical support and remote fault diagnosis for field engineers
- Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues
- Review work scopes and ensure correct parts, labour, and resources are allocated
- Ensure activities are supported by appropriate RAMS and safety procedures
- Liaise with customers, engineers, contractors and suppliers
- Support spare parts management and technical specifications
- Assist with technical training and development across the engineering team
Requirements
- Technical qualification or relevant engineering experience
- Strong understanding of industrial or process plant equipment
- Experience supporting maintenance operations in manufacturing, energy, or process industries
- Strong organisational, problem-solving and communication skills
- Experience using SAP
