This is a receiving parts inspector working on Day shifts.
Candidate must have basic skills in measurements, reading technical drawings and operating calibration systems.
The Receiving Parts Inspector is responsible for:
- Inspecting incoming parts and materials to ensure they meet quality standards and engineering specifications before being accepted into inventory or production.
- Verifying manufacturing operations against approved processes.
- Conducting build verification inspections.
- Completing final product inspections.
- Performing dimensional inspection using approved measuring equipment.
- Carrying out detailed visual inspections.
- Verifying manufacturing documentation and quality records.
- Confirming compliance with customer and engineering requirements.
- Independently approving manufacturing operations.
- Rejecting non-conforming products.
- Raising Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
- Applying Quality Holds where required.
- Removing Quality Holds following verification.
- Stopping production where product quality or safety is at risk.
- Escalating quality concerns using established governance.
- Performing containment inspections.
