12-month contract role, based in London (hybrid) for an Offshore Wind project.
Our client is seeking an experienced Cables Installation Engineering Lead to support the project currently in the development phase. The role will involve:
- Leading the engineering and execution scopes for the Inter-Array Cable (IAC) Transport and Installation (T).
- Reporting to the IAC Work Package Manager (WPM) for the project.
- Supporting the WPM in the technical management of the IAC T.
- Being specifically responsible for the safe and efficient technical execution of the IAC T.
- Ensuring that the IAC T interfaces closely with the EPC work packages.
- Defining the T efficiently and interfacing with all other technical work packages (OSP, Electrical, Export Cable, Geo, etc.) as well as other internal stakeholders regarding the IAC scope specific requirements.
- Demonstrating interface management during project design phases.
- Taking on the technical leading role with the T.
