Our client is seeking an experienced Contracts & Procurement Lead to join a major carbon capture and industrial de-carbonisation project currently progressing through engineering, procurement and construction phases.
About the Role
This is a senior-level appointment suited to an individual with a genuine balance of expertise across both contracts management and procurement, gained within large-scale carbon capture, energy transition, chemicals, petrochemicals, power generation, process industries or industrial infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
- The successful candidate will provide commercial leadership across a portfolio of engineering, equipment, construction and services packages.
- Ensuring effective contract administration, procurement delivery and commercial risk management throughout project execution.
This is a full-time site-based role in North Wales, with some travel to London to support engagement with engineering, project management and key stakeholder teams.
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in both contracts management and procurement within major capital projects.
Required Skills
- Strong practical knowledge and administration of IChemE contract forms.
- Experience supporting the delivery of carbon capture (CCS/CCUS), energy transition, industrial de-carbonisation, chemicals, petrochemicals, power or process industry projects.
- Proven background within EPC and/or EPCM project delivery environments.
- Strong commercial negotiation, supplier management and contract administration skills.
- Able to operate effectively in a site-based execution environment.
