Our client, an Oil and Gas Operator, is currently hiring a Senior Corporate Communications Advisor to join the team on a long-term contract basis.
BASIC PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
Leads various corporate communication campaigns and works closely with the corporate communications manager to deliver the internal and external communication strategy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides advice and support on communication issues aligned with corporate and UK strategy and messaging.
- Develops strategies for internal communications, including planning and implementation across various channels, projects, and initiatives.
- Ensures rapid and consistent deployment of communication campaigns and tracks their success.
- Manages the in-house email newsletter, including editorial content, drafting, layout, and distribution coordination.
- Chairs the CSR Committee and oversees the annual CSR program and quarterly community fund.
- Participates in emergency response planning, training, and media response.
- Prepares speeches, presentations, and articles for leadership.
- Engages in professional development to stay updated on contemporary corporate communication issues.
QUALIFICATIONS/TRAINING
Essential: Relevant degree or equivalent education and experience.
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS
Essential: Experience in a communications environment with knowledge of corporate communication tools and strategies. Proven ability to communicate effectively in writing and presentations. Ability to build effective relationships with diverse groups. Up-to-date knowledge of communication best practices.
ADDITIONAL SKILLS/REQUIREMENTS
- Excellent English language and copywriting skills.
- Strong knowledge of internal communications.
- Proficiency in Office 365 (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Viva Engage); graphic design skills are a plus.
