We are seeking a highly skilled P6 Planner to join our project management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analysing project schedules using Primavera P6. The Planner will collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate and timely planning, monitoring, and reporting of project activities, helping to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules in Primavera P6, including WBS, activities, dependencies, and milestones.
  • Monitor project progress and performance against the schedule and provide timely updates to stakeholders.
  • Identify potential schedule risks, delays, and bottlenecks and provide recommendations for mitigation.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to collect data for schedule updates.
  • Prepare and present schedule reports, forecasts, and dashboards for management and clients.
  • Assist in the development of project planning procedures, standards, and best practices.
  • Support project controls activities, including resource planning, cost integration, and progress tracking.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements related to project scheduling.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Project Planner or Scheduler using Primavera P6.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, scheduling methodologies (critical path method, milestone charts, etc.), and project controls.
  • Experience with reporting tools and progress tracking techniques.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of maritime, engineering, or oil & gas projects is highly desirable.
