Rotating Equipment | Oil & Gas | 2/2 Rotation onshore | Norfolk 🚨

Here’s one for the machinery-minded.

We’re looking for a Rotating Equipment Engineer to join a high-performing maintenance team within a major oil & gas operator. Based at a key UK gas terminal (with travel across onshore/offshore assets as needed), this role is all about maximising the availability and reliability of high-speed rotating kit – gas turbines, compressors, gen sets – the works.

You’ll take ownership of planned maintenance, work scopes, performance monitoring and failure analysis across a mixed fleet, managing vendors and getting properly stuck into strategy, diagnostics and continuous improvement.

Some of the kit you’ll get your hands on:

  • Siemens SGT-600, SGT-A35, and SGT-100-2S
  • Ruston TB5400s
  • Solar Centaur 40
  • Howden screw compressors
  • Dresser Rand centrifugal compressors

We’re after someone with:

  • Solid knowledge of high-speed rotating machinery – both theory and practical
  • Engineering degree or HND/HNC (or equivalent experience)
  • Experience managing overhauls, vendor relationships, and maintenance planning
  • A proactive, safety-first mindset and a passion for driving equipment reliability

The set-up:
📍 Bacton gas terminal (plus field-based travel)
📆 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off shift rotation – prodominately onshore
