As an Engineering Co-ordinator, you will act as a key technical authority within the maintenance function, providing support across planned and reactive maintenance activities for a range of industrial gas installations and associated equipment. You will be responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, reviewing and validating work orders, supporting fault diagnosis, ensuring compliance with statutory inspections and providing technical guidance to both customers and internal teams. The role will also involve liaising with contractors and suppliers, managing SAP service orders, supporting spare parts selection and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate planned and reactive maintenance activities across multiple sites and installations.
  • Provide technical support, troubleshooting and remote fault diagnosis.
  • Review work orders and ensure appropriate labour, materials and resources are assigned.
  • Act as an escalation point for complex technical issues.
  • Manage SAP service orders and maintenance documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with inspection, safety and maintenance requirements.
  • Prepare and review RAMS and support safe systems of work.
  • Liaise with customers, suppliers and contractors regarding maintenance activities.
  • Support spare parts management and technical specification reviews.
  • Participate in on-call support for urgent and business-critical issues.
Requirements
  • Technical qualification (HNC/HND, Degree, Apprenticeship or equivalent experience).
  • Strong understanding of industrial gas systems or similar process plant environments.
  • Experience coordinating maintenance activities within a technical or engineering environment.
  • Previous experience providing technical support, troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.
  • Knowledge of RAMS, permit systems and statutory inspection requirements.
  • Strong SAP and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple activities in a fast-paced environment.
