Responsibilities
- Manage nominated proposal writing activities within the PM010 (Go/No Go) through to PM080 (Project Handover).
- Provide technically accurate and commercially/financially compliant proposals to support the company's order entry and key performance targets.
- Maintain a process that allows submission of over 500 firm or budgetary proposals within a 12‑month period, ensuring compliance with organisational guidelines.
- Develop and implement a go‑to‑market selling and pricing strategy for the service line in conjunction with Sales Managers & Commercialisation Manager.
- Provide technical proposal support for internal and external customers when called upon.
- Support maintenance of the Mod's & Up's product list and accurate reporting of business/product KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with latest commercial, technical, and health & safety legislation.
- Support continual improvement assessment for all E2E processes.
- Support development and implementation of the service line marketing strategy.
- Provide and publish statistical analysis information for the tendering process.
- Support operation of the Mod's and Up's Bid/No Bid process in line with company procedures.
- Support maintenance and accuracy of the Mod’s & Up’s Pricebook.
- Work in a trustworthy, ethical and compliant manner at all times.
External contacts: end customers, sub‑suppliers, third‑party companies, and internal customers across regional entities, engineering, supply chain, quality, logistics, contract management, compliance, field service, customer support managers, business administration, manufacturing & production.
Preferred Skills
- Good technical understanding of gas turbines.
- Good commercial, contractual and financial knowledge.
- Qualified to degree level or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
- Previous bid management/proposal drafting experience.
- Strong project management knowledge/skills.
