The organisation is highly esteemed, renown for driving innovation within the fields of Power Transmission, Distribution & Renewables, working on large-scale Capex projects with TSO’s and other Energy market participants to provide reliable and complete power solutions to global energy markets, with the capability & expertise to provide the full suite-of-services from initial conception to system commissioning & project after care.
The organisation is seeking multiple Power Systems Consultants to join the consulting team at present, responsible for developing and advising on projects in the field of transmission, distribution, and generation, supporting components of work from modelling & analysis, feasibility, regulatory & commercial elements.

Responsibilities:
- Management of Power projects & processes, conducting complex problem solving to optimize power systems & advise on technical specifications.
- Conduct analysis & modelling with various software packages e.g. Stability, Harmonic, Short Load testing, Load Flow Studies, Impact assessments.
- Build an internal & external network, identifying opportunities for new and repeat business.
- Use various sales & negotiation techniques to ensure successful outcomes on transactions, proposals, and contracts.
- Contribute towards R+D projects including scope of budget, project management, communications with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery.
- Follow up on new products and service provisions, including client support and contract management activities.
- Willing to travel to attend client meetings on occasion.
Desirable Experience & Qualifications:
- Degree / MSc. qualified in Electrical Engineering or similar Engineering principle.
- Solid understanding of power systems, analytical techniques and bespoke software packages e.g. DIgSILENT, PSS/E, PSCAD.
- Proven understanding of technical requirements within Power System Engineering, including equipment applications / site assessments / grid stabilisation / network optimisation.
