Senior Automation Engineer (PCS7) | Outside IR35 | 6-Month Contract

We're currently seeking an experienced Automation Engineer to support a major site upgrade project within a highly regulated manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a significant automation programme, with work expected to continue well into next year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete software rewrite as part of a major upgrade project
  • Technical and critical review of project documentation
  • Vendor reviews and technical coordination
  • Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT)
  • Commissioning, Qualification & Validation (CSV) support
  • Automation project delivery from design through implementation

Essential Requirements:

  • Strong Siemens PCS7 experience (essential)
  • Previous automation upgrade / migration project experience
  • Experience within Pharmaceutical, Biopharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Medical Device, or Process Manufacturing environments
  • FAT, SAT, CSV and commissioning experience
  • Strong stakeholder and vendor management capabilities

Contract Details:

πŸ“… Initial 6-month contract with likely extension
