Summary: We are seeking a motivated MWD / LWD Specialist to support offshore well construction operations.
This position is responsible for assisting with the operation of Measurement While Drilling (MWD), Logging While Drilling (LWD), and Directional Drilling tools while ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable drilling performance in accordance with Baker Hughes standards.
Responsibilities Operate and assist with MWD, LWD, and Directional Drilling tools during offshore drilling operations.
Read and interpret well plans to support directional drilling execution and well placement objectives.
Monitor and utilize mud pulse telemetry systems to ensure accurate downhole data transmission.
Perform basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment checks at the wellsite.
Communicate effectively with customers, drilling personnel, and internal Baker Hughes stakeholders.
Ensure all activities are performed in compliance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, legal requirements, and operational procedures.
Complete all required technical training and competency development programs.
Support continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining a strong focus on safety and operational excellence.
Requirements Technical degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
Industry experience in MWD, LWD, Directional Drilling, Drilling Services, or a similar field role.
Understanding of measurement/logging while drilling fundamentals, including mud pulse telemetry.
Familiarity with MWD/LWD tool suites and directional drilling technologies.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused approach.
Ability to work effectively with wellsite personnel at all organizational levels.
Demonstrated teamwork, leadership potential, and commitment to safe working practices.
Willingness and ability to work in an offshore environment.
