Are you passionate about driving high‑standards in procurement, compliance, and risk management? Do you thrive in a fast‑paced environment where your expertise directly shapes safe, compliant, and efficient operations? If so, this role could be your next big move.
We’re looking for a Procurement Discipline Advisor who will champion Counterparty Due Diligence (CDD), procurement compliance, and cost recovery across a complex, multi‑stakeholder environment. You will be accountable for ensuring that all counterparties undergo robust due‑diligence screening and that procurement activities fully align with internal procedures, contractual obligations, and local regulatory frameworks. Working closely with in‑country teams, partner organizations, and remote category groups, you’ll play a central role in streamlining procurement processes, strengthening governance, and supporting compliant sourcing activities.
Responsibilities
- Oversee CDD processes to ensure full compliance with anti‑bribery, anti‑money laundering, sanctions, and tax regulations.
- Conduct risk assessments, escalate red flags, and ensure timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate records using platforms such as ARAVO.
- Support alignment of procurement and contracting processes across partner organizations.
- Lead or contribute to cost recovery activities, ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and audit‑ready.
- Support audits, provide evidence for cost recovery claims, and help minimize financial leakage.
- Coach and mentor procurement teams on compliance frameworks, CDD, and risk management best practices.
- Develop and deploy procurement procedures, guidelines, and training materials (P2P, S2C, ERP systems).
- Drive a strong culture of compliance, psychological safety, and continuous improvement.
- Serve as a key interface for suppliers and internal technical/project stakeholders, enabling efficient and compliant contract execution.
Qualifications
- A university degree in Procurement, Audit, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
- CIPS or equivalent professional certification (preferred).
- ~5+ years’ experience in procurement, compliance, due diligence, or audit — ideally within the energy sector or large‑scale onshore project environments.
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of contracting, supplier management, and project execution principles.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate across cultures, functions, and geographies.
- A commercial mindset and strong analytical skills, with experience negotiating complex contracts.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build high‑trust relationships at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and drive alignment among diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with procurement compliance frameworks, CDD tools, and cost recovery processes.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in the energy sector or large‑scale onshore project environments.
If you’re ready to elevate procurement excellence while contributing to safer, more transparent operations, we’d love to hear from you.
