Are you an experienced Engineering Manager or ready to step up into a deputy role within the UK water sector? NES Fircroft has been exclusively retained by a leading organisation delivering major water infrastructure projects across key UK frameworks. This role offers the opportunity to play a central part in both bid development and project delivery, coordinating multidisciplinary engineering activities across complex infrastructure schemes. You’ll work closely with design, construction and client teams to develop practical, buildable solutions across a range of water and wastewater projects.
In this Engineering Manager/Deputy Engineering Manager role, your key responsibilities will involve:
- Leading or supporting multidisciplinary engineering activities across bids and live projects
- Coordinating design inputs across civils, structures, MEP and process disciplines
- Managing interfaces between design teams, construction teams and client stakeholders
- Supporting buildability reviews and construction-led design development
- Overseeing external designers and ensuring timely delivery of technical outputs
To be successful in this position, you will need:
- A degree in engineering, ideally within civil engineering
- Experience working on UK water infrastructure projects
- Proven ability to coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Background working in contractor-led or design & build environments
- Chartered status or working towards chartership
