Are you an experienced Bid Director with a strong track record in leading major infrastructure tenders? NES Fircroft has been exclusively retained to support a leading organisation in appointing a senior leader to drive complex bids across the UK & Ireland. This is a high-impact role leading the full bid lifecycle for major infrastructure opportunities, with responsibility for shaping winning strategies, coordinating multidisciplinary teams, and engaging with clients and joint venture partners. Following award, you will maintain a key leadership position supporting project mobilisation and delivery.

In this Bid Director role, your key responsibilities will involve:

  • Leading the full bid lifecycle, from strategy development through to submission and handover
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary teams, joint venture partners, and key stakeholders
  • Developing winning technical and commercial strategies for major infrastructure bids
  • Managing client engagement and ensuring high-quality, compliant bid submissions
  • Supporting project mobilisation and liaising with delivery teams post-award

To be successful in this position, you will need:

  • Significant experience leading major infrastructure bids
  • Strong background in contractor-led environments within large-scale projects
  • Experience working with NEC contracts and complex commercial structures
  • A degree in an engineering discipline or equivalent/relevant experience
