Lead Piping Engineer

Aker Solutions Life Cycle UK are supporting a Frame Agreement that covers primarily Maintenance and Modification at Equinor’s offshore platforms Heidrun, Njord A and B, Asgard A and B, Troll A, B and C, Heimdal, and Johan Sverdrup in the North Sea Norwegian sector, as well as the onshore facility at Tjeldbergodden (Norway). Our project team in Aberdeen are looking for a Principal Piping Engineer.

What will you be doing?

• Lead the piping engineering group in a project
• Establish and maintain required piping specifications and standards
• Develop and maintain piping detail standard
• Establish and maintain piping special items
• Technical input to piping discipline and coordination with the material department
• Specification of valves and follow up towards vendors
• Follow up of piping procurement packages

We think you should have:

• Relevant industry experience working as a Principal or Lead Piping Engineer
• Strong knowledge within ASME/ANSI and other applicable standards
• Team working skills with ability to work in an international environment
