Required:
- This is more of a pre-sales or telephone integration engineer role, understanding the clients' needs to work with partners, complex integration moving to post-sale, designing for Pre-Sales and creating solutions then handing over to the Engineering team for implementation, integrating my client’s systems.
- Any cloud platforms AWS, Azure, Google Cloud are required.
- Any Pre-Sales experience.
- APIs, microservices, integrations, data flows, scalability, security.
- Infrastructure concepts: Networking, authentication, IAM, Containers (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Databases (SQL & NoSQL).
- Agile / Scrum certifications.
- ITIL (for service-oriented environments).
- Experience with RFPs, proposals, & SOWs.
- 3–8+ years in roles such as a Sales Engineer / Pre-Sales Engineer, Technical Consultant, Implementation Architect.
Skills & Experience
Essential:
- Proven experience in a customer-facing Pre-Sales or Technical Consultant role.
- Strong experience producing customer-facing HLDs & LLDs.
- Experience designing SaaS or managed service solutions.
- Understanding of regulated or compliance-driven environments.
- Excellent customer communication, workshop facilitation, & presentation skills.
- Ability to balance customer requirements with product & service constraints.
Desirable:
- Experience with compliance, archiving, or regulated data platforms.
- Exposure to financial services or regulated communications environments.
- Experience supporting technical pre-sales or complex customer onboarding.
- Familiarity with structured service delivery or professional services models.
