Application Integration Engineer – Permanent – Knutsford Hybrid – 3 days on site, 2 days remote My client is looking for someone who enjoys working across application configuration, system integration, & complex environments.

My client builds cloud-based communications platform that integrates with enterprise systems & powers real-time communication workflows across distributed microservices.

Cloud-native microservice architecture.

Enterprise voice & communications systems.

Third-party application integrations.

Multi-tenant Saa S environments.

Customer-like integration & validation setups.

This is a hands-on technical engineering role focused on making sure my client’s application ecosystem works as a complete integrated solution.

Responsible for the configuration, integration, & reliability of microservices & platform services, third-party integrations, selected enterprise voice/communication systems, Product teams (end-to-end feature validation).

Application Integration Engineer required: - Experience with enterprise communication or complex application environments.

Exposure to systems such as: Cisco CUCM, Microsoft Teams Voice, Webex Calling, Avaya, Genesys, or similar.

Strong understanding of application configuration concepts (users, routing, policies, tenants, etc.).

Comfortable working with distributed systems (logs, APIs, configuration tools).

Strong analytical & troubleshooting mindset.

Have: - Exposure to SIP-based systems (conceptual understanding is sufficient).

Experience with Saa S, microservices, or cloud-native applications.

Understanding of authentication systems (OIDC, SAML, OAuth).

Basic scripting or automation (Bash, Python, etc.)Application Integration Engineer will be working on: - Configure client’s application services across a microservice-based architecture.

Manage application-level configuration (tenants, users, roles, routing, feature flags, etc.).

Integrate & configure third-party applications & services.

Maintain realistic multi-tenant environments that reflect customer deployments.

Ensure end-to-end application behaviour is consistent across environments.

System Integration (Including Voice Platforms).

Support integration with enterprise communication systems such as, Cisco CUCM.

Microsoft Teams Voice.

Cisco Webex Calling.

Other UC or contact center platforms where relevant.

Understand key configuration concepts (routing, users, policies, dial plans, integration points).

Ensure correct end-to-end behaviour between my client’s platforms & external systems Application Integration Engineer

Debug configuration & integration issues across multiple systems.

Document setup procedures, configurations, & integration patterns.
