We’re looking for a skilled and motivated Installation Supervisor to join our client’s growing team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll oversee refractory installation projects across the UK and occasionally Europe. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, enjoy leading teams, and take pride in delivering high-quality work safely and efficiently, then this could be your next move.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and manage refractory installation services from planning to execution
  • Supervise teams of up to 30 operatives per shift across industrial sites
  • Coordinate manpower, tools, and materials to meet project timelines
  • Accurately track working hours, allowances, and subcontractor details
  • Respond to service calls, troubleshoot faults, and support repair work
  • Guide commissioning activities and advise on dry-out procedures
  • Ensure full compliance with HSE regulations and internal safety standards
  • Act as the primary onsite contact for clients and stakeholders
  • Collaborate with subcontractors, clients, and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery
  • Maintain detailed project documentation including QA/QC reports
  • Mentor team members and promote a culture of continuous improvement

What We’re Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the refractory industry
  • Valid forklift licence
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe

Bonus Skills & Experience

  • Background in refractory installation and supervision across sectors like steel, cement, glass, aluminium, or petrochemicals
  • Familiarity with furnace construction and industrial systems
  • Ability to read technical drawings (CAD) and use MS Office tools
  • IOSH or equivalent safety training
