NES Fircroft are currently seeking a Junior Mechanical Project Engineer to join an exciting oil and gas business based in Dyce, on a permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals in the beginning of their career looking to get into Mechanical Project Engineering. In this role you will be mentored by the Lead Project Engineer throughout the process in which you will develop your mechanical knowledge and project management skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Design systems and components based on project requirements.
- Develop detailed drawings, and specifications.
- Conduct simulations and analysis to verify design performance and reliability.
- Develop testing procedures and protocols for systems and components.
- Conduct and oversee testing to ensure compliance with safety and performance standards.
- Analyse test data, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
- Provide technical support during installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, components, and design principles.
- HND in a Mechanical Engineering discipline
- UK right of work
