Ready to join a global leader driving real change in the energy transition? We’re looking for an Electrical Field Engineer to support large-scale industrial operations across the UK and Ireland.

In this role, you’ll take the lead on maintenance, troubleshooting, commissioning and upgrades across a wide range of electrical systems—keeping critical plants running safely, efficiently and reliably.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Responding to electrical breakdowns, diagnosing faults and getting plants back online quickly
  • Carrying out planned maintenance, major overhauls and shutdown support
  • Overseeing contractors to ensure safe, high-quality work
  • Supporting installation, commissioning and acceptance of new equipment
  • Delivering technical reports, recommendations and long-term solutions
  • Suggesting improvements to enhance safety, reliability and performance

What we’re looking for:

  • A formal electrical apprenticeship + HNC (or equivalent)
  • Strong experience with motors, switchgear, protective relays, HV systems, controls, transformers, and generators
  • Ability to read control drawings and work independently in fast-paced environments
  • Hands-on troubleshooting capability + strong technical judgement
  • Flexibility to travel across the UK/Ireland and respond to plant needs
  • Experience in industrial gases, petrochem, heavy industry or similar is a bonus
