Job Overview:
The Data Manager, reporting to the CIO, will lead the data strategy, governance, and analytics functions within the organization. Responsibilities include managing data policies, overseeing analytics initiatives, and ensuring data compliance to support business insights and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support data governance, analytics, and IT strategy development
- Serve as SME on data-driven decision-making and compliance
- Collaborate with CIO on data investments and innovation
- Ensure regulatory compliance and data integrity
- Review data requirements in vendor contracts and risk assessments
- Develop and implement data strategies aligned with business goals
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards
- Manage data assets' storage, security, and compliance

- Experience in high-risk industries like oil & gas, energy, or infrastructure is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic and Kurdish is desirable
