The Crisis Response Lead is an important role providing day to day interface with Crisis & ER resources, delivering high quality output in support of effective risk management and crisis & emergency preparedness within the business. This incorporates all aspects of crisis and continuity management and tactical preparedness to ensure full compliance with the defined practices of the Joint Venture and in country regulatory requirements. This will be a UK based role with up to 25% travel requirements.
Accountabilities
- Lead the design and overall delivery of the crisis, emergency planning and business continuity programme for the Business which includes but is not limited to:
- Development and management of a crisis, emergency planning and business continuity programme that meets GDP and Regulatory requirements.
- Supporting the development plans and procedures in line with the Group Defined Practice including:
- Business Support Plans.
- Incident Management Plans.
- Emergency Response Plans.
- Emergency Response Bridging Arrangements.
- Business Continuity Plans.
- Other supporting plans.
Qualifications & Core Competencies
- Degree or equivalent is desirable, but not essential for those with the appropriate level of experience.
- Strong knowledge of risk management in hazardous industries & utilities in high-risk locations.
- Strong demonstrable experience in incident management & response including at the tactical level.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Desirable Criteria
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in C&CM activities, preferably in frontier environments.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing Crisis Management Systems including Incident Command System, tiered Response models, Business Continuity Programmes and delivery of associated training programmes.
- Proven track record of communicating, working and influencing effectively across several geographical, cultural and business boundaries, at various levels of an organization including senior leaders.
