Role Purpose:
To safely operate a clamp truck to move, load, unload, and store products within the warehouse or production facility while maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a clamp truck safely to transport materials and finished goods.
- Load and unload vehicles without causing damage to products or equipment.
- Accurately move stock to designated storage and production areas.
- Carry out daily equipment checks and report any faults or maintenance issues.
- Follow all site health & safety, quality, and operational procedures.
- Maintain accurate stock movements using warehouse systems or paperwork.
Requirements:
- Valid FLT/Clamp Truck licence or relevant certification.
- Previous experience operating a clamp truck in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
- Good understanding of health and safety procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good attention to detail and communication skills.
- Counter Balance Experience
- Corrugator Experience
Desirable:
- Experience handling paper reels, packaging products, or other clamp-handled materials.
- Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS)
