Main Responsibilities

  • Lead temporary works design coordination activities.
  • Undertake or review temporary works calculations and technical deliverables.
  • Coordinate interfaces between temporary works, permanent works and construction teams.
  • Manage temporary works designers and specialist consultants.
  • Support construction methodology and buildability reviews.
  • Participate in engineering risk reviews and temporary works assurance processes.
  • Support tender development and construction planning activities.
  • Ensure compliance with temporary works procedures and relevant standards.

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree qualified Civil, Structural or Geotechnical Engineer.
  • Strong experience in temporary works engineering within UK infrastructure projects.
  • Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership.
  • Experience undertaking and checking engineering calculations.
  • Contractor-side experience preferred.
  • Experience managing external designers beneficial.
