Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex desktop and cloud applications using modern software engineering practices, including design patterns, SOLID principles, automated testing, and CI/CD.
- Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, code-generation tools, and automated testing assistants to improve productivity and code quality.
- Collaborate closely with the Team Lead and Product Owner to translate business requirements into scalable and maintainable technical solutions.
- Communicate risks, trade-offs, progress, and technical challenges effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Continuously evaluate and adopt relevant technologies, frameworks, cloud services, and AI-assisted development tools.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Software Engineer: 3 to 10 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Senior Software Engineer: 5 to 15 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience building and delivering complex, production-grade software applications.
- Strong proficiency in C#/.NET.
- Experience developing desktop applications and/or cloud-based software solutions.
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, design patterns, testing methodologies, version control, and code review practices.
- Experience working within Agile software development environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience modernizing legacy software and migrating mature C/C++ codebases to modern technologies while maintaining performance and accuracy.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Hands-on experience building, configuring, or maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with AI-assisted software development tools.
- Experience modernizing desktop applications, including UI/UX improvements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to take initiative within a team environment.
