Role Overview
Contract role β Project Quality Engineer (Inside IR35).
Location β Wolverhampton.
Client is seeking AWE and/or Nuclear experience.
The Project Quality Engineer will be responsible for the planning, execution, monitoring, performance and continuous improvement of Project and Operational Quality Management and Control. They will be responsible for day to day operational Quality Management and Control for the projects and/or processes. The Quality Engineer role is split across two inherently linked teams to provide complete Quality Assurance and Quality Control.
Responsibilities
- Tendering
- Project Kick-off
- Review of Client Specifications
- Production of Project Quality Plans
- Review / approval of MITPs
- Flow down of client Quality requirements to functions and suppliers
- Production of contract-specific Procedures
Qualifications
- Ideally Bachelorβs degree in Quality Assurance or related subject
- Proven Engineering, Business Management, Manufacturing or related field
- Nuclear Industry experience required
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, EN 3834, EN1090
- Lead/Internal Auditor in ISO 9001
- NCR generation and management
- Experience of working to Quality Control Grading
- Experience of working in highly regulated industry
- Experience and understanding of process improvement
