NES Fircroft is recruiting an Analytical Chemist to join a leading agricultural company. This role is based at our client\’s site in Bracknell on a 24 month contract. As an Analytical Chemist, you will play a key role in the development and implementation of analytical characterisation techniques, with a strong emphasis on chromatographic methods. You will deliver expert analytical insights and methodologies to support the evaluation of agrochemical active ingredients and formulated products. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and analyse samples using GC and HPLC. Present and discuss the results from analytical studies prepare and deliver progress updates for stakeholders. Be customer-focused by actively seeking information relevant to the work in hand and discussing issues and problems with colleagues in the formulation, manufacturing and synthetic chemistry departments. Qualifications: A first degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject with significant analytical content. Experience of analytical techniques GC and HPLC. Knowledge of extraction procedures and other sample preparation technologies suitable for the characterisation of agrochemicals or similar products.
