Permanent position based in Knutsford, hybrid working model (3 days on site, 2 days remote). No sponsorship available.

Required:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT service delivery or internal IT operations.
  • Proven track record in managing IT vendors, systems, & infrastructure in a modern, cloud-centric environment.
  • Familiarity with ITIL practices, service desk operations, & modern enterprise IT tools.
  • Exceptional communication & stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in regulated industries is a plus.

Ensure systems are reliable, secure, & aligned with business priorities & compliance mandates (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2). Manage relationships with third-party vendors & MSPs responsible for supporting internal IT services & infrastructure. Manage the internal IT operational budget & oversee procurement of IT tools, licenses, & services. Oversee & actively manage all aspects of contracts with internal IT outsourcing partners, including negotiation of terms, diligent monitoring of compliance, & proactive resolution of any contractual issues or disputes.

Role Summary:

The IT Service Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery, performance, & continuous improvement of internal IT systems, tools, & outsourced technology services. This role ensures that internal technology infrastructure supports operational efficiency, scalability, & compliance across the business. Acting as the primary point of accountability for internal IT service management & vendor oversight, the individual will work closely with department heads, outsourced partners, & executive leadership to ensure technology services meet business needs & compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Internal IT Systems Oversight: Own the performance & life cycle management of internal IT systems, platforms, & productivity tools. Ensure systems are reliable, secure, & aligned with business priorities & compliance mandates (e.g., ISO 27001, SOC 2 Type 2).
  • Outsourced Technology Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors & MSPs responsible for supporting internal IT services & infrastructure. Oversee & actively manage all aspects of contracts with internal IT outsourcing partners, including negotiation of terms, diligent monitoring of compliance, & proactive resolution of any contractual issues or disputes. Ensure service levels are met, & support contracts are actively monitored, evaluated, & renewed or adjusted as needed. Lead vendor performance reviews & enforce service delivery & escalation protocols.
  • Service Delivery & Operational Excellence: Governance & Compliance, Budgeting & Procurement, Continuous Improvement, Stakeholder Engagement.
