Term: 8-12 months ongoing

Rate: £18.72P/H + Holidays

Our client is looking for an experienced Material Planner to manage end-to-end inventory and production planning within our Electrification Smart Buildings division.

Key Responsibilities of the Material Planner:

  • Manage vendor portfolio and full supply chain/inventory lifecycle
  • Maintain inventory parameters within the ERP system
  • Work closely with Buyers, Operations, and internal teams to support material availability
  • Analyse inventory performance, identify excess/obsolete stock, and drive improvements
  • Produce weekly/monthly planning and inventory reports
  • Create production schedules, release work orders, and run daily plant-level MRP

About You:

  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing planning, MRP, production scheduling, and inventory control
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP desirable)
  • Skilled in Excel
  • Excellent communication, analytical ability, and attention to detail
  • Proven track record of improving processes
