Rate: £13.50p/h + holidays (33 days - 25+8BH)
Term: 6-12 months - Monday-Friday 37.5hrs (early finish on Friday)
Role and responsibilities:
- Assembly experience required
- Correct use of machinery and equipment on the shop floor required.
- The Assembler will be able to read and interpret working instructions for assembly of products.
- Conducts all types of assembly work to produce a semi-finished or final product, including the packing where integrated with production lines.
- Some requirements to use light hand tools.
- Regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
- Conducts shop floor operation in compliance with health & safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance.
- Operates within standard operating procedures and maintains a clean work area.
- In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the Emergency lighting unit in achieving the set production targets by adhering to the systems and processes.
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability.
