Experienced Gasoline & Naphtha Trader – Neruda Capital

Neruda Capital is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gasoline and Naphtha Trader to expand our presence in global refined products markets. This role is pivotal in shaping trading strategies and optimizing profitability in the complex. With access to Neruda Capital’s advanced trading infrastructure and proprietary tools, you will capitalize on market opportunities, manage risk effectively, and enhance our competitive edge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strategic Trading Execution – Develop and execute high-impact trading strategies across naphtha and gasoline markets.
• Risk Management – Proactively manage exposure to price volatility, arbitrage opportunities, and logistics constraints, ensuring alignment with the company’s risk framework.
• Market Research & Analysis – Track supply-demand dynamics, refining margins, shipping trends, and macroeconomic factors to refine trading strategies.
• Regulatory & Compliance Adherence – Ensure all trading activities align with regulatory requirements and internal compliance standards.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education – Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, or a related field. Advanced certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) are a plus.
• Industry Expertise – Minimum of 3 years experience in trading naphtha, gasoline, and related refined products with a proven track record of profitability.
• Global Market Knowledge – Strong understanding of arbitrage flows, refinery production economics, blending strategies, and regional pricing structures.
• Risk & Hedging Proficiency – Expertise in hedging strategies, derivatives, and swaps to manage exposure in volatile markets.
• Commercial & Negotiation Skills – Strong ability to structure and negotiate deals with refineries, blenders, traders, and logistics providers.
• Technical & Analytical Skills – Experience with advanced trading platforms, data analytics, and pricing models.
• Regulatory Awareness – In-depth knowledge of compliance requirements for trading refined products across global markets.
