Associate | Private Markets | Senior Retained Search | London | £40-60k Base | £70-100k OTE

I'm working with a retained search firm covering Director to Board level placements across financial markets and services.

Every client is retained, with fees ranging from £100-200k. The client base is concentrated and loyal, with many relationships running over a decade.

This role sits on the private markets desk, working directly with investors on senior mandates.

Coverage spans private markets and traditional asset management: real estate, private equity, private credit and infrastructure.

Clients range from the largest alternative platforms through to traditional managers and specialist real asset players, across investments, product, origination, capital raising and investor relations.

Every mandate is Director level and above.

The desk works across Europe, the Americas and the Middle East, so international travel comes with the job.

Recent work includes Global Head and C-suite searches across real estate, infrastructure and private credit.

This is primary research at its core.

Mapping, referencing, calling recent movers, building a network that compounds.

Associates are in client meetings from the start, and the exposure is real rather than sitting behind a partner.

The people who do well here get on the phone, front foot, and use tech properly in how they put work together.

Associates typically earn £70-90k total, with top performers going beyond that.

Progression is real: most associates step up to senior associate.
