Neptunus is an international specialist in the design, manufacture, and rental of high-quality temporary structures for events and temporary buildings for business and education. We are pleased to announce that we are looking to expand our team and have the following vacancy based at our UK office in Swan Valley, Northampton.
We are looking for an enthusiastic full-time (40 hours) Architectural Draftsman to join our CAD team. From festival structures and hospitality units for Formula 1 events to semi-permanent sports halls and commercial buildings — no two projects are the same. You will support international projects across the UK and Europe with high-quality technical drawings and design support.
Your Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with the Sales Department, internal teams, and external stakeholders across UK and European offices
- Prepare, update, and produce architectural drawings (2D and 3D) for sales, site teams, and stock control
- Assist in the preparation of planning application drawings and supporting documentation
- Support the technical aspects of projects throughout all stages, including compliance with building regulations, and provide technical guidance as knowledge develops
- Attend project sites to produce accurate as-built drawings
- Assist in maintaining drawing standards and contributing to continuous improvement of processes
- Work closely with a Senior CAD Technician and actively engage in training and development opportunities
- Support colleagues and other trainees as required, including during periods of absence
- Undertake any other duties as reasonably requested

- Experience in a similar role is an advantage, but not essential
