At Neptune, we care deeply about the spaces we create for our people. As Facilities & Maintenance Manager, you'll ensure our Support Office, warehouses and retail stores are safe, well-maintained and running smoothly. This is a handsâon role, balancing planned maintenance with dayâtoâday problem solving, while leading a small team and trusted contractors across multiple sites.
Youâll oversee day-to-day maintenance across two warehouse sites and all retail stores across the UK, planning and delivering planned preventative maintenance programmes and coordinating reactive maintenance quickly and effectively.
Day to day youâll:
- Ensure building systems (HVAC, fire alarms, electrical, plumbing) are compliant and operational
- Maintain accurate records, asset registers and safety documentation, report R.I.D.D.O.R.-reportable incidents within required timeframes
- Carry out site inspections and ensure compliance with health & safety and building regulations
- Line manage the Health & Safety Coâordinator, Maintenance Technician and Housekeeping Supervisor
- Oversee contractors and service providers, ensuring quality and value for money
- Manage the maintenance budget and identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency
Youâll be someone with proven experience managing facilities or maintenance across multiple sites and have a strong knowledge of building services, property maintenance and health & safety compliance. Essentially, youâll hold NEBOSH National General Certificate or equivalent. Itâs important that you are a confident communicator with excellent organisation and planning skills and have experience leading teams and managing contractors. This role will also involve travel to our other site in Swindon and also across our stores, so youâll hold a full UK driving licence and have a willingness to travel.
