As our Junior Merchandiser, you\’ll play a central role in shaping that story.
You\’ll take the lead on WSSI and OTB planning across categories-building and managing tools that bring clarity to our numbers, spotting risks and opportunities as they arise, and guiding seasonal budgets with care. You\’ll help shape our ranges through considered analysis, setting buy quantities and supporting option planning in line with trading patterns.
Working closely with our logistics, buying, and digital teams, you\’ll ensure product flow aligns with demand. Alongside that, you\’ll refine reporting tools, monitor performance, and manage stock levels with an eye for detail and a calm, solutions-focused approach.
In The World Of Merchandising At Neptune You\’ll Support With Curating a Product Range That Will Deliver Against Our Planned Sales Growth By
- Owning and managing WSSI and OTB for your category
- Forecasting stock and sales, balancing intake, markdowns and margin
- Analysing trading performance and recommend actions
- Collaborating with Buying on future ranges and strategies

This role is suitable for someone who is currently in a Junior Merchandiser role or perhaps you are an experienced Assistant Merchandiser who is ready to take the next step up to a Junior Merchandiser position. With a retail background (ideally home or lifestyle but not essential), you\’ll be confident with WSSI planning and the numbers behind it all. You\’re calm under pressure, methodical in your thinking, and always looking for ways to do things better.
We\’d also love it if you bring a sharp eye for trends and data and strong Excel and reporting skills. You\’ll also have a thoughtful, collaborative approach to work and the ability to turn complexity into clarity. Most of all, you understand that numbers tell stories-and those stories shape decisions that matter.
