Job Description:

Role Profile:

OFFICE London is looking for an Assistant Merchandiser to join our team. The main purpose of the position is to support the Merchandising team across Ladies and Men’s MTO by trading the department and planning future ranges. The Assistant Merchandiser will have full ownership of allocations and distribution on the department, maximising sales potential of all stores and the web. They will also support, develop, and train the allocator on the department.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support Merchandising team trading the department – full control of forecasting sales, updating and managing linecards, placing repeats and planning markdowns
  • Support Merchandising team planning future ranges – full control of forecasting sales and range planning with Buying team in order to maximise sales opportunities
  • Produce and analyse daily and weekly reports to support Merchandising team
  • Full ownership of all allocations and distribution on department
  • Work closely with stores to ensure stock packages maximise sales potential and that stores are not overstocked, focusing particularly on flagship stores, German stores, the website, and concessions
  • Plan options by grade to ensure stores don’t get over optioned
  • Manage weekly intake on department
  • Support, develop, and train the allocator to ensure they hit department and individual objectives
  • Present figures, provide information, and contribute in meetings
