We want people who are positive and passionate, have proven problem-solving capabilities, can work quickly to find solutions to complex challenges and unlock big opportunities. People need to be able to take ownership and be trusted to deliver, going the extra mile. We want people who are highly motivated and have a high desire to learn.

Neptune North are launching a new initiative known as AI Foundry. We are forming a team of versatile, entrepreneurial technology professionals who will be charged with building, deploying and managing a suite of AI-augmented and highly customisable multi-tenant business applications. These products will save time, improve user experience, and reduce costs for a carefully-controlled list of high-value customers in the financial services domain. We are looking for an experienced product manager to orchestrate the full lifecycle of software delivery, co-ordinate the transition of each product from initial single-client rollout through to broader commercial exploitation. The role combines elements of product ownership, product management and delivery management.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Own the end-to-end product roadmap for AI Foundry, our AI-native application delivery platform, aligning priorities across commercial and engineering teams.
  • Act as the primary product point of contact for senior client stakeholders across our financial services and defence engagements, translating complex business needs into a clear, actionable product vision.
  • Partner closely with the internal engineering team to define, sequence and prioritise the backlog, balancing client commitments against platform scalability and reusability.
  • Lead product discovery for new AI Foundry capabilities.
  • Define and track success metrics such as adoption, performance and business value for AI Foundry initiatives, reporting progress to leadership and client sponsors.
  • Manage the trade-off between bespoke client requirements and building a reusable, multi-tenant AI Foundry capability.
  • Support the Management team in scoping and shaping new AI Foundry engagements, including input into proposals, pricing and statements of work.
  • Ensure product delivery adheres to relevant regulatory, security and governance requirements across our regulated client base.

What makes a great candidate:

  • A proven track record as a Product Manager delivering business-critical applications and/or software engineering platforms.
  • Experience engaging with senior, C-suite or Director-level client stakeholders, comfortable navigating ambiguity and complex commercial relationships.
  • Strong technical fluency in AI concepts, especially LLMs and their deployment in production environments, sufficient to challenge and collaborate credibly with engineering and data science teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, able to flex confidently between technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and prioritise a product roadmap that balances multiple client needs against a shared platform.
  • Strong commercial acumen, with experience contributing to proposals, scoping exercises or business cases.
  • Comfortable operating with a high degree of autonomy in a fast-scaling, entrepreneurial environment.
  • An Undergraduate Degree in a relevant subject.

We would also prefer you to have:

  • Experience within financial services, private capital, insurance or defence sectors.
  • Experience working within a joint venture, matrixed or multi-stakeholder organisational structure.

You can have an impact from day one – we empower and trust our people to leverage their skillsets. Work on a wide variety of projects alongside exceptionally talented people, often closely correlated to world events and trends. Deliver demonstrable business value working hand-in-hand with the customer. Learn from industry experts on how financial markets and world economies work. Ownership of technical products and projects – actively engage with a wide range of business functions to leverage their knowledge and exposure. Exercising judgement and acumen to understand the true business need beyond the stated requirements.

Interview Process:

  • Aptitude Test – The next step is to complete a speed-driven aptitude assessment.
  • Management Interviews – You will meet with members of our Management Team. These will be a combination of technical questions and an assessment of team and cultural fit.
  • Technical Interview – As a final step you will meet 1-2 other team members for a technical interview.
  • Offer – Successful candidates will receive a formal offer, subject to reference and right-to-work checks.
